Tracey E. Pinkston, J.D., M.D.
Tracey Pinkston, J.D., M.D. holds doctorates in both law and medicine. She graduated from the University of South Alabama, where she was in a unique honors program that enabled her to begin her Internship following only 3 years of medical school. She continued on to her Internship and Residencies in Internal Medicine and Primary Care at the same institution. Tracey Pinkston, JD, MD has achieved the highest level of her profession, being Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She treats all manner of chronic and acute illness, with a focus on adolescent and adult medicine, but also sees some children on a case-by-case basis. She has special interest in natural and holistic medicine. Dr. Pinkston has completed special training in Alternative and Complementary Medicine and in Environmental Medicine. She is a scuba diving instructor and has been trained as a Diving Medicine Physician, including hyperbaric oxygen chamber operation, by the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Association. Dr. Pinkston is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College for the Advancement of Medicine, and the American Academy of Environmental Medicine. Dr. Pinkston is also a member of MENSA.
Carrie Nameth, R.N., MSN
Carrie is a Registered Nurse who has extensive specialized training and experience in military and home health care medicine and additional training in intravenous therapy. She personally mixes each infusion therapy according to the physician orders, starts and maintains the patients' Intravenous (IV) access, cares for Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) lines and implanted infusion ports, and monitors patients during and after their infusions. She also performs many other functions in the office to assure the comfort and well-being of our patients at all times.
Rosemary is your primary contact with our office. Although somewhat new to medical practice, she has extensive managerial experience in many fields. She is our Office Manager and keeps things running smoothly for both patients and staff. She will assure your visit is conveniently scheduled for you, will assist with booking of your referral appointments and testing when needed, and liaise with consultants' offices. She will be your primary contact with our office and is dedicated to taking care of you in the best and most timely way possible. She is a member of PAHCOM.
